Race School Introduction and Overview
LaFayette Motorsports Park is proud to host the 2026 McAleer Racing Summer Karting Camps! Designed for drivers ages 6–18, these camps offer an exciting introduction to karting as well as advanced training for more experienced racers.
Our Novice/Beginner Camps (July 6–8 and July 14–16) are perfect for newcomers—no prior experience required. Drivers will learn fundamental racing skills, safety techniques, and track awareness in a supportive, high-energy environment.
For those ready to take their skills to the next level, the Advanced Camp (August 17–19) delivers focused coaching and performance training.
All camps run daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and include full safety gear, professional instruction from pro race car driver Stevan McAleer and his team, and available kart rentals capable of speeds up to 50 mph. Participants will train under the guidance of pro race car driver Stevan McAleer and his experienced team, ensuring a world-class learning experience both on and off the track.

Private coaching for 5 years old to adult
Private Coaching Introduction and Overview
Take your driving skills to the next level with personalized, one-on-one coaching at Lafayette Motorsports Park. Open to drivers ages 5 through adult, these private sessions are designed to meet each racer exactly where they are—whether you’re brand new to karting or refining advanced techniques.
Each lesson is fully customized to the driver’s skill level, focusing on core fundamentals, racecraft, confidence building, and performance improvement. Coaching is provided by experienced instructors from LaFayette Motorsports Park, delivering a professional and supportive learning environment.
Sessions are $100 per hour and are available by appointment only, allowing for flexible scheduling and individualized attention.
